Mary Jo is a highly organized and customer-focused automotive service professional who has been with M&J Auto since 2015. Serving as both our service writer and office manager, Mary Jo bridges the gap between complex workshop operations and exceptional customer care.
Mojo - Shop Greeter
Mojo is an 8-year-old German Shepherd. She has been coming to work since she was 7 weeks old. She likes to say hello, and if you engage, you will be her best friend! When she isn't working, she enjoys chasing bike tires, playing fetch, and swimming.
Robert Tackes - Technician
Robert serves as the lead technician at M&J Auto where he oversees daily garage operations and advanced diagnostics. Robert has been at M&J Auto since we opened the doors in 2009.
John
John has been in the automotive industry since 1994 and with M&J Auto since 2025. He specializes in emissions repairs and performance diagnostics.
Grant
Grant has been in the automotive industry since 2020 and has been with M&J Auto since 2024. He specializes in European vehicle service and maintenance.
Derek
Derek has been with M&J Auto since 2022. He is a Lube-Tech, Lot Attendant, and Mechanic in training.

Matt Boschae is the founder and owner of M&J Auto, a premier destination for quality pre-owned vehicles and expert automotive maintenance. With over 20 years of hands-on industry experience, Matt established the business to provide a true all-in-one automotive solution built on honesty, transparency, and mechanical expertise.
Throughout his career, Matt has mastered both sides of the business—carefully hand-selecting dependable inventory for the sales lot while overseeing a high-performing service department. By managing both vehicle sourcing and mechanical repairs, he ensures that every vehicle sold passes rigorous safety inspections and that service clients receive fair, reliable care. Dedicated to the local Hartford community, Matt focuses on building lifelong customer relationships by taking the stress out of both buying and maintaining a vehicle.
